38 – Sacred Sexuality And High Grade Magic With Arden Leigh

Topics of discussion

In this episode we dive into Arden’s understanding and experience of high-grade magic and how you can incorporate it into your life.  Arden talks about the sexual narratives that her parents passed onto her – and how those narratives shaped her life.

Arden begins the show by talking about the sexual narratives that her parents passed onto her – and how those narratives shaped her life.

We then move into Arden’s relationship status where she shares that she has been celibate for three years.

Sacred sexuality

She used to go after adventurous people, but they were not treating her well. At the end of 2015, she realised her patterns which were outdated and not serving her. She then switched to a model of radical discernment. During the last few years, she has been focused on giving herself the things she needed. Celibacy can be radical discernment and most empowering because Arden said that now, her standards are high.

Arden discusses the intention that she set in choosing to go celibate. She shares how when we perform low-grade magic, we can try and force pieces of a puzzle together that don’t fit. However, the universe knows what is in our highest good more than what we do. So, it is a switch from low-grade magic to high-grade magic. This type of magic aligns you to your highest purpose. When Arden did do this, everything that she wanted showed up for her.

High-grade magic vs low-grade magic

Low-grade magic is about having attachments to specific outcomes. This type of magic comes from your ego self; whereas high-grade magic is about aligning ourselves with our purpose. Higher self magic surrenders to divine forces because you are connected to your higher self. This means that it is more sustainable.

She shares her experience with high-grade magic, where she set an intention for wealth and abundance. Arden performed a ritual for the new moon in which she sought to attract financial abundance. She speaks about her experience in manifesting through high-grade magic and how this financial intention came into fruition.

When she talks about magic, she says there are items that still have to come through the pipeline of reality. We have to do some work toward acquiring the things that we want. The things we want will not show up at our doorstep without us doing work to bring it to us. The action steps toward what you want should be clear, and if the action is wrong it will feel bad.

Aligning magic with our highest good

We can add the clause ‘in alignment to my highest good’, to the intention that we set.

Example: Let’s say we set the intention I want to earn more money we could say ‘I want to earn more money which is in alignment with our highest good.

When it comes to creating the intention in a magical manner, we do not need to draft the intentions with giant extravagant rituals. We can keep them super simple.
